Jeffrey began his teaching career at The Facing History High School in Manhattan, where he worked from 2007-15.  While there, he served in a variety of positions.  He taught ICT English and History and he served as special education liaison and master teacher during his tenure. In 2013, he was accepted into the LEAP program, where he interned as an administrator to earn his school building leader credentials. In 2014, he was elected to the board of directors of the School Reform Initiative, a non-profit organization whose mission is "dedicated to transformational learning communities who are fiercely committed to educational equity.” From 2015 - 2017, he served as the founding assistant principal of The Urban Assembly School for Global Commerce, in East Harlem.
