Donna currently supports schools with academic policy, systems, performance and assessment. Before joining the BNFSC, Donna was an Instructional Specialist with Network 410. She worked closely with administration, teachers, and key staff to provide strategic instructional and assessment support.  Donna has also been a lead teacher in a District 24 where she fostered a positive and rigorous learning environment for a diverse student population including ELLs, honors, students with disabilities, and general education students. Upon graduating with a BA from St. Joseph’s College, Donna received an MA in Literacy from Adelphi University. Donna continued to enhance her instructional pedagogy and acquired a certification in ESL from St. John’s and later obtained an SBL and SDL certification in Educational Leadership and Administration from the College of Saint Rose.  Donna graduated from the Leaders in Education Apprenticeship Program (LEAP).
